Susan Ray

Susan Ray, MD is a TB Principal Investigator and a Local and State Core Faculty in the CPS Core of TRAC. She is also a professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Emory University School of Medicine. Her academic and clinical pursuits are centered on the epidemiology, prevention, and treatment of infectious diseases affecting the urban, indigent, minority population served by Grady Health System; she is the Hospital Epidemiologist for Grady Health System. Her research interests include TB diagnostics and immunology. She is also the founder/physician director of the Woodruff Health Sciences Center Needlestick Prevention Center, and attends on the Infectious Diseases Consult Service, the AIDS ward, and the General Medicine Service at Grady Memorial Hospital.
